I will be brief as possible as I can.Having gone through the last post about traffic generation for a web or blog,I thought it good to also share How  to  Generate Traffic to a Website or Blog.

Now let's go for what we have at hand.From my little experience let me share with you how to generate traffic to your blog or website.Below are a few ways and  ideas on how to generate traffic.

1.  SEO(Search Engine Optimization): This is a way of getting your website/blog to search engines.Its importance cannot be overemphasized. It boils down to having free,original and quality content on your blogs or websites and if possible publishing them on article directories that will accept them and that allow you to leave your link. You can always use google to find such article directories. If you can not write you can as well hire the services of article writers.

2. Site Submission: Submit your sites to search engines. You can also use pinglers. Ensure you do it once in a while.

3. Backlinking: Find qualtity websites with good page rank and backlink to them.This is to make the search engines to index your blog/site

4. Make use of webmaster tools

5.Use social media networks

6. Post free ads in free ads posting sites

5. Tell people about your site i.e word of mouth.You can begin with your friends and family members and with time go beyond your circle.

7. Don’t give up.Try and be patient but consistent and persistent.Remember the sayings that “Rome was not built in a day” and “the patient dog eats the fattest bone”

8. Work with time.

9. Offer freebies depending on your niche. Who does not want free things?Even myself want free things or maybe you don’t ,hahhaha!

10. You can offer contest also.

11.Ensure your articles are void of grammatical and typographical errors.

12. Make sure you CONSTANTLY repeat (1-11 above).
